Pioneering Palliative Care: Digitalisation and Transformation.

Each year PRC organizes a seminar, with the aim of presenting the newest research within the area of palliative care, symptom management and patient-centred care. The PRC seminar also aims to facilitate networking and collaboration locally, nationally and internationally. This year’s seminar will consist of a three-day programme, with the first day including sessions dedicated to two European-funded projects: MyPath and JANE2. The scientific program is based on invited speakers and submitted abstracts focusing on palliative and patient-centred cancer care.

Important announcement from the PRC Seminar 2025!

The Top 10 Abstracts submitted to this year’s seminar will be published in Current Opinion in Supportive and Palliative Care — a leading journal in the field!

We invite PhD students, postdocs, and junior researchers to submit their abstracts. The highest-ranked abstracts will be selected for presentation at the seminar. Additionally, some abstracts will be given the opportunity for a poster presentation. The selected abstracts will be included in the main seminar program, with a maximum presentation time of eight to ten minutes each.

Abstracts Submission Guidelines

We open for submission of abstracts within the following, or other relevant topics in palliative care:

How can digitalisation support the delivery of palliative care?
Digital tools that support the integration of palliative care and oncology
Symptom management; pain and nutrition
Organisational transformation and education
How can digitalisation and AI shape the future of palliative care

Abstracts must include:
- Author and co-authors' names
- Affiliation details: department, institution, country
- Abstract title
- Abstract text – limited to 250 words

You will be notified of the decision of the scientific committee within July 11th 2025.
